We have never spent much on shouting. Most of the people drinking You + I found us because somebody they trust handed them a bottle and said “try this”. So we have made that easier, and put something in it for both of you.
How it works
Every account has its own referral link. Send it to someone and they get 10% off their first order. Once that order is paid, you get 10% off your next one.
That is the whole thing. No codes to remember, no minimum spend, no tiers to climb first.

It lives on your rewards page. Sign in and you will see it near the top, with a button to copy it and a shortcut to send it straight to someone on WhatsApp.
Rewards are issued once your friend’s order is paid, and they are valid for 90 days.
Why we would rather do this than advertise
A recommendation from a friend carries information an advert cannot. It comes with context: they know you, they know what you drink in the evening instead of a beer, they know whether you would get on with a kombucha that tastes of black cherry rather than vinegar.
It is also honest about what we are. We brew in small batches in Glasgow, raw and unpasteurised, on whole leaf tea rather than the dust that goes into teabags. That is not a product that benefits from being pushed at people who were not looking for it. It benefits from being passed to someone who will actually appreciate it.
A word on the cultures
Since we are talking about sharing: this is how kombucha has always travelled. A SCOBY grows, you split it, and you pass half to someone else so they can start their own. Brewers have handed cultures between kitchens for as long as anyone has been making the stuff. Ours came the same way.
Sending someone a link is a slightly less messy version of the same instinct.
